What a Classical Feng Shui Analysis Actually Evaluates

Classical Feng Shui is not a decorating discipline. It is not a generic advice about furniture placement or color theory.

It is a precise, compass-based analysis of how your property's orientation, construction period, landform, and internal configuration interact with the specific people living inside it.

What I evaluate is not what your home looks like.

It is what your home is doing.

The orientation of the property and its relationship to the surrounding landform. The construction period and the natal chart it establishes. Where the most important people in the household are sleeping, working, and spending the majority of their time. The external environment including roads, water, and neighboring structures. And how the current annual cycle is interacting with the home's permanent blueprint.

All of it together tells me what that property is producing for the people living inside it and what needs to be corrected.

Existing Single-Family Homes

The most common application of my work.

An existing home is evaluated through a compass reading, natal chart calculation, and full assessment of the property's star combinations, landform, external environment, and the spaces where the most important people in the household spend their time.

Corrections are identified and applied based on what the property needs and what the people living in it require.

Many conditions can be corrected without structural changes. Some require more significant intervention. In rare cases where a property is fundamentally incompatible with its occupants I will say so directly and recommend a better path forward.

Buyer Property Evaluation

Before you commit to a significant acquisition this analysis determines whether that property supports the specific people purchasing it.

Not every property performs the same way for every buyer. Some properties are fundamentally incompatible with the people considering them.

Some have conditions that are costly to correct. Some have energetic conditions so unfavorable that resolving them would require rebuilding the structure almost entirely.

Knowing that before you sign is not a luxury.

It is due diligence.

Estates, Renovations & New Construction

For multigenerational estates and legacy properties the question is not only how the property is performing today. It is whether that property will continue to support the family as occupants change over time.
